Early on the team at Messagepoint recognized the value of enabling customer communications to be authored, edited, and managed using a cloud-based solution.  From the beginning, we wanted to disrupt the old school approach of relying on IT teams to make coding changes to documents.  We wanted to provide marketing, customer servicing, product teams, and even IT teams an easier, more accessible way to access and intelligently control their content – via the cloud.

For almost a decade now, we have offered a cloud-based solution for customer communications management (CCM) and were the first to do so.

This benefits our customers in so many ways. It makes the process of updating the platform with new features so much easier for our customers and allowed our engineering and operations teams to be much more agile in providing updates and scaling the solution.  We even provided an option for conservative organizations that wanted to keep their sensitive customer data on-premise behind their own firewalls with a hybrid option that allows them to still work with content, rules, and workflow in the cloud, but maintain their customer data in existing systems. That said, many organizations are becoming far more comfortable with the security provisions in place and are looking for fully hosted cloud solutions.

In addition, our SOC2 and SOC3 certifications also ensure that Messagepoint has passed some of the most stringent audits around security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy for our enterprise customers.

With COVID-19 being a massive disruptor for many businesses, having a cloud-based solution is essential.
