Our history

Our company was founded in 1998 as Prinova, beginning as a Customer Communications Management (CCM) integrator, evolving over the years to become a full-fledged CCM Solutions company.

Our drive to serve our clients’ needs has kept us constantly evolving, and expanding into print composition services was the first stage in our evolution. Building an early partnership with Exstream Software (now part of OpenText), we’ve become the largest 3rd party integrator of OpenText Exstream globally.

Bringing the creative and the technical together

We once worked regularly with other design firms on joint client project bids, but these engagements typically turned into two separate projects – one for design, and one for integration. The design firms we partnered with would often give us designs that we could not integrate with our clients’ infrastructure, forcing us to rework the designs or make substantial changes to our clients’ systems.

In time, we realized there was a better way and in 2005, we built our own design division, in house. Our Communications Services team was born and quickly became a roaring success, creating world-class, award-winning designs for our customers. After bringing our technical and creative teams together under one roof, we developed our Integrated Approach™ methodology, which blends design and integration into a unified process.

The software evolution

The next stage in our evolution was again driven by our clients. They told us that their business users needed control over their content; there was no centralized location for messaging, and they were daunted by the complexity of messaging variations and customization. We responded by building our Messagepoint® software, to solve these problems by making it quick and easy to deliver personalized, targeted communications.  We quickly built connectors to OpenText Exstream, Quadient (GMC) Inspire, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Exact Target) and others, and the product quickly took off.  What started as an on-premise solution evolved into a SaaS offering, with 100% of our customers now using Messagepoint in the cloud.

Messagepoint, the new name of Prinova

Effective March 1st, 2017, we officially changed our name from Prinova to Messagepoint. Why the new name? We’ve been investing heavily in Messagepoint and it’s quickly become the primary focus of our organization. With Messagepoint winning awards and being used extensively by a rapidly growing number of leading global enterprises to manage critical customer communications, we made the decision to simplify our brands, and officially make Messagepoint the name of our company.  We’re still the same group of CCM technology experts that you’ve been working closely with, just with a new official name.
